جـاء اختيـار اسـم «أقوم قيلاً» استلهامًا من قـول الله تعالى فـي سـورة المزمل ﴿إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا﴾.

فالقرآن في هذا الموضع يفتح أمامنا أفقًا واسعًا من المعاني؛ إذ يوجّهنـا إلى أن هنـاك قـولًا أقـوم، ومعيـارًا أسمــى يهـدي القلـوب والعقـول معًـا. ومن هنــا، أردنا أن نوصـل للمجتمع والأمـة جمعـاء أن أعظـم ما يمكن أن يملأ حياتهم قولاً ومعنىً ونـورًا هو القرآن الكريم؛ فهـو الثــابت الـذي لا يقــوم مقـامه شـيء، وكـل ما سـواه لا يثبت أمامه.

ويكشـف هـذا التعبير القـرآني البديـع الفـرق بيـن «القـويم» و «الأقـوم»؛ فالقويم هو المستقيم المقبول، أما الأقـوم فهو الأهـدى والأعلى مرتبة، وهو ما يدعونا القـرآن دومًا إلى البحث عنه، لأنه وحـده يضع كل شيء في موضعه الحـق. وهكـذا، نكتشـف أن ما نــراه في واقعنـا قـد يكـون «قويمًـا» بظــاهره، لكنه ليس بالضـرورة «الأقـوم» في جوهره إلا حيـن نعيد وزنه بميـزان القرآن.

The name Aqwam Qeela is drawn from Surah Al-Muzzammil (73:6). This verse reveals a horizon of profound meaning — that there exists a truer word, a higher standard, and a more guiding path that unites hearts and minds.

The Qur’an distinguishes between Qawim (upright, sound) and Aqwam (most upright, most guiding). The latter is loftier and more complete, placing everything in its rightful order. Thus, what may appear sound in worldly terms is not necessarily the most upright until it is weighed against the measure of the Qur’an.

Through this lens, Aqwam Qeela conveys that the Noble Qur’an is the eternal source of guidance, light, and meaning — nothing can substitute it, and all else fades beside it.
